You have adorable children, but every time you try to DOCUMENT their adorableness on camera, they turn into crazy people.  Cheesy smiles, stiff poses, sticking out their tongues, closing their eyes tight, hiding behind furniture.  Does this sound familiar?

Because that’s EXACTLY what my kids do.  It is SO frustrating.

The solution?  You have to entirely change your approach in order to capture genuine, natural expressions from children.  As a kids photographer I've acquired many tricks & strategies that help children relax in front of the camera.  And I want to share MY SECRETS with you!

This self-led course is for you if:

  • You have kids.
  • You want to take better photos of them.
  • You're tired of your kids flashing cheesy smiles and want to document genuine moments.

This course is NOT for you if:

  • You're looking for instruction on HOW TO USE your DSLR camera (try my DSLR basics course instead!)
  • You're SO happy with the photos you're taking of your kids.

Hi, I'm Casey, aka Miss Freddy

When I was born, I had an unfortunate resemblance to Fred Flinstone and the nickname stuck (even though I don’t think I look like a caveman anymore!).  I am a modern photographer for fun-loving families and I've been photographing kids professionally for 8 years.

As I've met more & more clients, I’ve seen that moms really want to know how THEY can take BETTER photos of their children and family.  I’ve learned a few tricks in my years of photographing children (and dealing with two little ones of my own!) and so... this course was born!

This course will cover:

Lesson One: Introduction
What to expect from this course.

Lesson Two: Lighting
How to use directional light to flatter your subjects and create beautiful art.

Lesson Three: Composition
The "rules" of composition that will help you take your images from good to great.

Lesson Four:  Connection
How to make your subjects comfortable and document emotion and candid images.

Lesson Five: Photographing Kids
My personal secrets/tricks for getting kids to cooperate and relax in front of the camera... leading to genuine smiles!

Lesson Six: Three Biggest Takeaways
A recap of he most important things I want you to take away from this course.
